Team Experiences
Extracurricular activities, travel, and traditions that bring our team together
At Three Guys Master Tradesmen, we believe the strongest teams aren’t built only through work.
They’re built through shared experiences, real conversations, and time spent together outside the day-to-day grind.
We work hard. We take pride in our craft.
And we believe the journey should be enjoyed together.
Why Team Experiences Matter to Us
As the company has grown from a small crew to a team of 30+ people, one thing has stayed the same:
connection matters.
We invest in team experiences because they:
- Build genuine trust between teammates
- Strengthen communication and collaboration
- Help prevent burnout during demanding seasons
- Create memories that last longer than any single job
Culture isn’t created in a handbook.
It’s created through moments.
Our Annual Company Trip: Puerto Rico
One of our most meaningful traditions is our annual company trip to Puerto Rico.
This trip isn’t a sales contest.
It isn’t tied to quotas or rankings.
It’s our way of recognizing the hard work our team puts in throughout the year.
The purpose of the trip:
- Enjoy the fruits of your labor — time to relax, explore, and experience something special together
- Recharge before the season —reset mentally and physically before the grind ramps up
- Build deeper relationships — connect as people, not just coworkers
No trucks.
No uniforms.
No job notes.
Just shared time in a different environment — something we believe makes us stronger when we come back.
Seasonal Events & Company Traditions
As we’ve grown, our traditions have evolved — but they’ve never disappeared.
Friendsgiving: A Full Day to Slow Down
Friendsgiving is one of the most anticipated days of the year.
Instead of squeezing something in after work, we take the time to do it right.
A typical Friendsgiving includes:
- A company meeting to reflect on wins and align on what’s ahead
- A potluck-style meal where everyone contributes
- Games and downtime — cornhole, music, and hanging out
- Karaoke — great singers, terrible singers, and everything in between
It’s relaxed, personal, and intentionally unstructured — the way real connection happens.
Christmas Party & Gift Exchange
Our Christmas party is about closing the year together and showing appreciation
- Gifts for the team
- Games and laughs
- A White Elephant / “White Santa” gift exchange
- No pressure, no formalities
It’s not about being flashy.
It’s about being genuine.
Staying Active Together: Sports & Friendly Competition
Before we were a bigger company, staying active together was part of our regular rhythm — and that mindset is still part of who we are.
- Played soccer at local fields
- Run pickup basketball games
- Played ultimate frisbee
- Used sports as a way to compete, decompress, and have fun together
Friendly Rivalries (Still Waiting…)
At one point, we even challenged other local companies to a friendly, multi-sport “company field day” tournament.
Soccer.
Basketball.
Frisbee.
Bragging rights.
So far, no one’s taken us up on it.
We’re ready when they are.
Learning, Travel & Industry Exposure
Team experiences for us aren’t just about fun and downtime — they’re also about growth through exposure.
We regularly fly team members around the country for industry conferences, conventions, and hands-on training.
When we send someone, it’s intentional.
It means:
- We trust them
- We believe in their growth
- We expect knowledge to come back to the team
Conferences We Attend
Over the years, we’ve taken team members to events such as:
- Pantheon (Los Angeles and Orlando)
- EGIA conferences, including events in Las Vegas
- Other national HVAC and trades-focused conventions
Hands-On Training Across the Country
We’ve also sent team members for advanced, in-person technical training, including:
- Ultimate Tech Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas
These programs are intensive, practical, and focused on real-world skill development — not just theory.
We cover travel because we believe:
Investing in our people is investing in the company.
Global Opportunities & Manufacturer Recognition
Some opportunities only come from long-term performance and strong partnerships.
We have an agreement with LG that if we hit our revenue goals for 2026, they will fly our top two sales team members to South Korea for an exclusive factory tour.
Everything included.
This isn’t a raffle or a gimmick.
It’s direct recognition of performance, professionalism, and trust.
For the team members who earn it, this means:
- International travel
- Seeing how products are built at the source
- Exposure to global manufacturing and engineering
- A once-in-a-career experience many people in the trades never get
What This Says About Our Team
This isn’t about perks.
It’s about connection, trust, and shared upside.
Everything on this page reflects how we see work and life:
- We care about who you are, not just what you produce
- We believe strong teams are built outside the job, too
- We value shared experiences, not forced fun
- We create opportunities that grow with performance
Want to Be Part of the Next One?
If this sounds like the kind of team you want to grow with, we’d love to hear from you.
Maybe the next Friendsgiving, pickup game, conference trip —
or even a factory tour on the other side of the world —
you’ll be there with us.
